Our Story
Phakhawadee Kongsui, Owner
Hello, my name is Phakhawadee Kongsui. Before opening SAVARA, I spent years working in the industry—specifically at major spas within luxury hotels. That experience taught me the importance of attentive service, focusing on everything from the smallest details to a genuine smile, ensuring clients truly feel cared for by the staff.
I wanted to create a space that embodies everything I’ve learned—a place where, no matter how often you visit, you feel that you are genuinely cared for.
My hope is that when you walk through our doors, you feel you are truly taking care of yourself; that, to me, is what success looks like.
Where she learned

Phakhawadee trained in Thai massage at Oasis Spa in Phuket in 2023, and worked at two five-star resorts in Phuket.
At the hotels she learned three things that SAVARA keeps: listen to what the guest asks for, smile, and train every day. Her team works to written standards for service and grooming. Where hotels follow one fixed sequence for every guest, SAVARA keeps the technique and adapts the treatment to the person on the table.
Whenever there is a quiet moment, the team practises, and Phakhawadee tests every therapist against the SAVARA standard.
About SAVARA
The name came out of a brainstorm on a car ride. It had to sound good to guests from anywhere in the world, be easy to say, and carry the care the studio stands for.
SAVARA opened on 13 September 2026. What Phakhawadee wants every guest to feel, in her words: “Just happy to take care of myself.”
Over the next five years she plans more studios across Thailand, Phuket among them, and later a school where therapists learn massage and care the SAVARA way.
Your arrival
- Welcome. A welcome drink and a cold towel.
- Consultation. Your therapist asks about pressure and where you want more or less attention.
- Change. Private changing rooms, lockers and showers. We provide the clothing (see the questions).
- Treatment. In the open area or one of three rooms, including a couples room and a private single room.
- After. Hot ginger or lemongrass tea.

The Quiet Contract

- No discounts. Every guest pays the same rate.
- Honest with you. We never cheat on a treatment, its time or its price.
- Tips are up to you. They are never expected, and nobody will ask.
- Professional massage only.
- We tell you straight if a treatment cannot do what you hope. A scrub does not change your skin tone, for example.
- No invented urgency. We never tell you a slot is about to disappear.
What we use
We use natural products wherever we can: coconut oil, Kalasai oil, and tools of mango wood and bamboo. We buy from small shops around Thailand rather than importing everything.
